Zach Ball to coach Mount Allison Mounties

SACKVILLE, NB - Zach Ball will be succeeding Jack Drover as the head coach of
the Mount Allison Women's Hockey Mounties. Ball has been an assistant coach
with the team for three years, and in 2008-09 was co-coach of the Mounties.
Zach hails from Belleville, Ontario and has played hockey at the Prep School
and tier 2 level. He has also worked at a number of hockey schools in the
Maritimes and currently resides in Sackville, NB.

Drover, who will be retiring in June, is happy to have Zach at the helm and
says, "He is a real student of the game and has great respect for the players.
I am proud to leave the program in the capable hands of Zach Ball."

On behalf of the players, Jillian Greene says, "Zach has been a great assistant
coach. His knowledge, passion, and enthusiasm for the game is contagious amongst
the players, and he is always ready to help the team on and off the ice. Under
the guidance of Mr. Drover, his position as co-coach for the past year will
allow a smooth transition to head coach next season."

As the new head mentor for the Hockey Mounties, Coach Ball had this to say, "I
am very excited about next season and my new role as head coach of the Women's
Hockey Mounties. We have a great group of ladies who are very talented hockey
players. I have a high regard for the Mount Allison program and great respect
for former coach Jack Drover. I feel very fortunate to have worked with him for
four years and I look forward to September and getting back on the ice with the
Mounties."
