Swimming kicks off CIS championship season Thursday

OTTAWA (CIS) - The Canadian Interuniversity Sport winter championship season officially gets under way Thursday when the best varsity swimmers in the country meet at UBC's Thunderbird Aquatic Centre, in Vancouver.

The 2009 CIS swimming championships will run Thursday through Saturday, with daily preliminary sessions at 10 a.m. Pacific Time and finals at 6 p.m. Pacific.
