CIS athletes of the week (#23): Calgary’s Tapp, York’s Richards-Kwok honoured OTTAWA (CIS) – Amanda Tapp, a hockey player from the University of Calgary, and Dontae Richards-Kwok, a track and field athlete from York University, are the CIS female and male athletes of the week for the period ending March 11, 2012.
DAY 3 (of 3): Mustangs earned first-ever men’s title while Lancers four-peat for women’s title WINNIPEG (CIS) – In thrilling day three action, the team standings were only decided on the final event with the Western Mustangs earning their first-ever CIS men’s title while the Windsor Lancers four-peat for the women’s title.
DAY 2 (of 3): Hyacinthe, Richard-Kwok double gold medallists in 300m while Lecours breaks CIS mark in 1000m WINNIPEG (CIS) – The stars came out as UQAM’s Kimberly Hyacinthe and York’s Dontae Richards-Kwok became double gold medallist along with Guelph’s Tommy Lecours breaking a CIS championship mark.
