Farrell and Niksic team up for McMaster's first win

HAMILTON – Rookie Paterson Farrell (Oakville, Ont.) and senior Daniel Niksic (Stoney Creek, Ont.) led the McMaster Marauders with a pair of goals each in their team’s 6-1 win over UOIT on Wednesday night at Ron Joyce Stadium.

Fourth year kinesiology student Omar Nakeeb (Mississauga, Ont.) found the back of the net on one of his four shots and second year history student Robert Schlosser (Stoney Creek, Ont.) rounded out scoring with a goal of his own.

In the Marauder net, Adrian Denomy (Oshawa, Ont.) saved six Ridgeback shots while Matthew Grant (Brampton, Ont.) kept out another three.

The lone scorer for the Ridgebacks was rookie midfielder David Karlstrom (Linkoping, Sweden).

The Marauders return to Les Prince Field this Saturday, September 11, to face Laurier at 3:15 p.m.
