2009 CIS Rookie of the Year Abigail Raye suits up for Canada's national team

VANCOUVER - The Canadian men’s and
women’s national field hockey teams continue their series of
matches versus Chile tonight at 5:30 PM (PST) at the University
of British Columbia’s Wright Field.
The final games of the series will take place on Wednesday, August 4th and Friday, August 6th.
Current and former T-Birds will be in action for both squads including Abigail Raye, Robyn Pendleton, and Sam Smith who were all members of the UBC women's team that brought home the 2009 CIS Championship.
Admission is free with a Field Hockey Canada Cow Bell. Cow Bells can be purchased for $10 and ensures entrance to all games.
Through the first four games of the series the Canadians have earned three wins and one draw. The men’s team defeated the Chileans on Saturday and Sunday 2-1 and 4-2 respectively while the women’s team earned a 1-1 draw on Saturday before producing a 3-0 victory on Sunday.
Come out to cheer on the Canadian teams as they prepare for this fall’s Commonwealth Games in New Delhi, India.
