PROFILE

After only two seasons with the Carabins, Alexis Rousseau-Saine has become one of the leaders on the team and he is also excelling academically.

The 22 year-old athlete from Montreal received one the offensive captain titles prior to the start of this season. Since the beginning of his rookie season in 2009, he has started all 20 games played by the Carabins. Alexis will once again be one of the key players with Montreal..

Alexis Rousseau-Saine contributed to the success of offensive line in 2010. Rousseau-Saine recorded 10 sacks in nine games during the regular season. The offensive line also helped running back Rotrand Sené crush the Carabins single season rushing record with 1,155 yards, the highest total in CIS last year.

Rousseau-Saine maintains an impressive 3.7 on 4.3 grade point average in the medical program. His double career has been encouraged several times in the last years. Last year, especially, he received a scholarship from the Montreal Alouettes for his academic excellence.
