WolfPack women’s volleyball helps Toys For Kids campaign

Thompson Rivers University WolfPack teams continue to be a big part of the Kamloops community. On Wednesday December 7 th, the WolfPack women's volleyball team was a part of the 19 th annual 97.5 "The River"/ Toys for Kids Campaign.

Over 25 hundred toys were brought in to a morning breakfast event at a downtown hotel (Hotel 540).  This is the fourth year that the WolfPack have been involved in this project, which sees the toys being donated to low income families in the Kamloops region though Christmas Amalgmated.

In previous years, the men's hockey and men's volleyball teams were a part of it.  In 2011, it was Keith Lundgren and his women's volleyball team. They helped pack the toys and carry them to waiting moving trucks.
