CIS Wrestling Championships around the corner

Lakehead's wrestling team was in the Agora on Monday morning to announce the upcoming CIS Championships being held at the C.J. Sanders fieldhouse February 24-25.

At this marquis tournament last year (also hosted by Lakehead), the women’s team placed 4th while the men’s team finished 9th. Both teams have improved since last year and are anticipating even better finishes this year against fierce competition versus visiting student athletes from across the country. Some of Lakehead's recent results follow below.

CIS Championship ticket prices info:

Adult day pass: $12.00
Weekend pass: $20.00
All students will be admitted free of charge.

Tickets will be available 1 week prior to the tournament from the athletics department.
