The match was very slow and methodical in the first set as both teams looked to see how they would play.

Queen’s will await the winner of a 3 pm PDT match between the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack and Dalhousie University Tigers.

The Championship side semi finals have the Trinity Western Spartans of Canada West taking on FSQE’s University of Laval Rouge et Or at 6 pm PDT.   The other semi final is an “all Canada West affair” with the two time defending national champion University of Alberta Golden Bears pitted against their provincial rivals: the University of Calgary Dinos.
