Carleton took the bite out of the Lakehead Thunderwolves with a dominating performance in a 92-42 win as they reached the summit in men’s university hoops honours for another year.
BRONZE: Gee-Gees edge Axemen in OT, claim bronze OTTAWA (CIS) – The Ottawa University Gee-Gees and the Acadia Axemen locked horns on Sunday afternoon at Scotiabank Place, but unfortunately for both teams, they hit the court a few hours earlier than they would have liked.
5th PLACE: RSEQ champs Redmen claim consolation final OTTAWA (CIS) – No team comes into the CIS men’s Final Eight tournament with hopes of finishing in fifth place – but someone has to. On Sunday morning at Scotiabank Place, the McGill University Redmen and the Victoria Vikes found themselves embroiled in a contest they had no intention of playing in when they arrived in the nation’s capital.
